Richard Scotney, Founder & Principal

I spent nearly 15 years in cafés, pubs and restaurants across Paris and Yorkshire, before swapping stove for spreadsheets in 2021 to follow in my grandad's footsteps as an accountant and start building a family.

I'm still passionate about good food and drink, and I love helping independent businesses stay on top of the numbers so they can focus on the craft. Having seen first-hand how small producers thrive when the basics are solid, my aim is to give artisans and independent food businesses the financial footing they need to grow with confidence — with support that’s friendly, practical, and never jargon-heavy.
